Festival of Mental Health, Swansea

Come and see Beryl at the 'Hardships of Being Human' festival; a celebration of the hardships and difficulties of being human, on April 24th.

"The day aims to make space to explore mental health through speakers, workshops, film, art and poetry. We aim to give time and compassion to human hardships, raise awareness and challenge stigma, promote wellbeing and inspire."

Im so pleased to be supporting this event, and excited to hear the other speakers. Its aims are aligned exactly with my values and all that makes standup poetry worthwhile - ill be performing both in the day, and also in the evening's entertainments alongside Welsh poet Sarah McReadie.
