What a season!

All has been busy and buoyant in Beryl's world; 'My Other Poems are Funnier' books are selling like hotcakes. Imagine the feeling of paying one's rent with poetry! (helped enormously by a feral's low rent)...

This years WordUp! stage was a great success, thanks to some fabulous support and a mindblowing series of guest spokenword artists. Im glad to be resting on my laurels for a while now and giving all that admin a rest.

I just got back from WOMAD festival, where alongside performing at HipYak, we toured the Word/Play project and the Rainbow Fish Speakeasy, which touched and moved people enormously - im glad that the importance of this work and the efficacy of applied arts and social prescribing is so universally evident.

Coming up next is the Oxford Storytelling Festival, where im proud to be performing in the Red Alachaigh, a touring sanctuary for myth, meditation, crafts and ceremony...
